Katherine (she/her) and her rescue dog, Maya.

Hi, I’m Katherine.

My style is warm, collaborative, and curious, and aims to make space for the fullness of your lived experience. Although many people come to therapy to process painful experiences/emotions/situations, you can also expect moments of playfulness, laughter, and even some cursing. My approach is integrative, trauma-informed, and recognizes the impact that larger systems have on our wellbeing. I’m passionate about helping clients better understand themselves and their relational styles, increase feelings of self-compassion, and challenge the patterns that no longer serve them. While my training, background, and education offer me a unique perspective, I believe that my clients are ultimately the experts of their own experiences. I empower clients with new tools, information about the brain/body connection, and a space to accept themselves as they are, while also working towards change/healing.

I have worked in various settings including non-profits for survivors of interpersonal violence and child abuse, dual diagnosis treatment programs, and private practice.

In my free time, I love connecting with nature (whether it’s going on a hike, swimming, or just wiggling my toes in the grass), puzzling, hanging out with my rescue pup, and listening to podcasts (my current favorite is Maintenance Phase).
